Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I got my truck for free as a non-running beater. It needed a rear end, a paint job, and a lot of work on the interior. It had been sitting for two years in a construction yard, being pilfered for parts. I have personally done all the modifications myself, except for the paint job (because I'm not a very good painterly ).
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
The 5.2L engine is stock, except for Edelbrock headers, a custom CAI, and a Flowmaster muffler. The 5-speed transmission is also stock. The rear axle is a GM 9.5" 14-bolt and the front is a Dana 44 from a Jeep J10 pickup. Gears are 4.10 with a Yukon DuraGrip limited-slip in the rear and a Spartan locker in front.
Suspension Modifications:
Approximately 8" of lift with Ramcharger leaf springs front and rear. Rear shackles flipped. Tuff Country shocks.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
LT315/75R16 (35 inch) Hankook DynaPro MT tires on Ultra Nomad 16x8 wheels.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Corbeau seats, Tuffy security console, sound system, Cobra CB radio, custom orange paint job, Line-X bedliner, home made nerf bars, Hella fog lights, fiberglass hood with functional scoops, Warn M12000 winch and custom-built (by me) winch bumper.
Future Modifications:
Hard to say. It's getting pretty close to where I would say it's done. Maybe rear disk brakes and a rear bumper?
