Bought in 2001 fresh off the lot in Pearl Forest Green. I bought it off my dad when I was 16 and the modding began. I hydroplaned into a tree one day on the way to college, repainted the truck Pearl Sapphire Black Metallic. Then a BMW hit me on the highway twice and ran, so it got repainted to Matte Black and murdered out. This truck helped me to keep my 3 businesses started, and has helped me to keep me making money. I do all the work myself, own 1 business now, which is an automotive business. Custom work, rebuilds, and maintenance. Love this truck.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
4.7, aFe stage 2 cold air intake, 180* thermostat, clutch fan delete, 68.5mm throttle body, custom 3 inch dumped exhaust, no muffler, retuned ECM, custom retuned transmission. Upgraded tranny internals, 3.55 gears. NGK one degree colder plugs. 89 octane running. Upgraded radiator.
Suspension Modifications:
2.5 canuck front spring lift, upgraded ball joints, new upper control arms with bushings, rear has spring helpers, and bigger shocks. Upgraded sway bars
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
1 tire size, falken ZX STz tires, satin black painted, nothing special yet. 16 inch SLT wheels.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Suede headliner, custom interior lighting, Kenwood Excelon head unit, kenwood 1000watt monoblock amp, Apline Type-R 12 inch, in a custom built sub box. Box replaces center console, and has compartment for a concealed weapon. All LED interior lighting as well, gun rack on window, Black converted interior, Dash lighting all LED, smoothed and painted center dash. Custom painted, overhead console conversion, with read out, blue back light, and homelink
Exterior: Hella 500FF HID conversion lights, Aries brush guard on the front, welded and reinforced mounts, matte black paint, Steel roll pan, debadged, and destickered, except for the window (which is all black now). Custom smoked taillights (by me) tail light guards, LED third brake light. (I have also clear OE tails with LEDs for options when I want) Anzo clear 2 piece headlights, 55watt Bi-xenon headlights, 35 watt fog lights.
