the curved straps fit right there where it has the 2 holes for the 10mm, little bolts, to hold the strap on. Theres also a second one, on the other side, that cant be seen at this angle.

The 2 little metal, curved straps, with those two 10mm bolts holding each one on are removed. You can see the groove the straps fit into, and the holes that the 10mm bolts go into. If you look just right you can see the snap ring and the long piece of wire that goes to the other snap ring on the other side. Those are what I'm concerned about. Not sure what to do and didn't want to break nothing.

That ball joint's boot is open, has slits from dryrot, theres no grease in it. So is the other bushing to the right on the bar going to ball joint, so is that one up top on the part that 90's to the left. All dryrotted under the front and wheels wobble left to right, and that bar can be twisted by hand a 1/4 turn with ease. Is that normal? Also that ujoint slightly clinks back and forth a bit.

That fluid leaking there is pwr steering fluid(another problem needing fixed, just a hose but it leaks all over everything down there!) That's the bar I can twist about a 1/4 turn effortlessly. To the left it goes into the pass lower ball joint that's all dry rotted and that wheel wobbles at the 3oclock, 9oclock position. The right wheel doesnt do much better. This is with full lock to left.

Can twist/turn this part a 1/4 turn effortlessly. That normal though? That fluid leaking back there is pwr steering fluid. Another issue, needs a new hose! That bar is the "y" bar with the screen door piece I was talking about. To the left it goes to the ball joint that has slits in boot and no grease in it anymore. Almost all the boots under here has slits from dryrot and all the bushings everywhere are rotted as well! Think that's part of the prob?

This is that "y" bar part I was talking about with the screen door looking piece on it. I can twist it about a 1/4 turn effortlessly. All that fluid leaking back there is pwr steering fluid. Another prob, hose needs replaced! This bar goes to the ball joints that are both dryrotted and have slits with no grease in the boots. Almost all boots and bushings are dryrotted under here! Think thats part of the problem?

Both sides, stupid gaps! But, getting ready to bolt on that bottom piece(plasti crapped in black) and that will somehow fill the gaps a good bit.

So the bottom piece filled gaps some, just not enough. But the bolts through it in just the right places filled rest of way! Note only right side has some bolts so far.

And there's the notches! Note the left side still doesn't have the bolts to close it's gap a lil more.

This is that rubber piece that was with the bumper at pick n pull. I could close the "jack o lantern" look and still be able to lift it up if ever needing tow hooks? No? Plasti dip it first?(ha!) Buy a new one? Leave it alone?

I'll get to those 3 or 4 bolts on l side to close gap over there. Just not today, too hot out there! Prob when the rubber piece decision is made. To rubber, or not to rubber? It dont look that bad in person. The "jack-o-lantern" thing is just a joke. But would like to know if you should cover it up, maybe cut entire rest of the middle out(between the notches), maybe put 2 little rubber squares at each notch, leave it, etc, etc, etc, etc.
