Completed modification install. Latter I will take a peice of plexyglass and make a window cover to go in place of the old resister block opening. That will help in detecting when the core needs to be cleaned again.

View of the lower portion of the core along with the core Freeze Sensor reinstalled. Note how the wires for the sensor is now routed down instead of up, this is to stop any interference with the new Resistor Pack location in the cover

Evaporator core now vacuumed out. Now the AC can blow colder air into the cabin.

Full view of the new Resistor Pack location and you can see how dirty the Evaporator Core is. Due to the different design I was not able to use the original location, so I picked a different location to install the new one.

I am the third owner of this car. I bought it in 1/9/2003 with only 24K on the odometer. The brake drum factory clips were still on the drums and the backing plates had not been punched when I bought the car.
