American Muscle

Its August and our patriotic fervor is still running hot.  Left over fireworks are still popping on the weekends and car lovers are getting out the hoses and buckets to wash their rides and show off at the beach.  Summertime in America is all about barbequing by the pool and going for a cruise on those hot summer nights.  It may not be as tame as grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers, but nothing seems so quintessentially American as burning rubber in a muscle car—it’s fierce proud and strong.

For Patriots

Dodge has done some homework and discovered that a high number of Mopar owners are veterans.  As a salute to those that have served (or are currently serving) in the United States Armed Forces, Dodge has unveiled the Stars & Stripes Edition of the 2019 Challenger and Charger models.  The trim is available as an upgrade to the GT, R/T and wickedly cool Scat Pack models of the Charger and Challenger.  The Charger GT model is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that cranks out 300 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque while the Challenger GT pushes 305 horses and 268 lb-ft of torque.  The R/T models host the impressive Mopar 5.7-liter Hemi V8 powerhouse (the same engine Ram runs in their pickups) that hits 375 horsepower with 410 lb-ft of tire squealing torque while the Scat Pack has a monster under the hood in the form of a 6.4-liter V8 Hemi that can slap down a ballistically fast 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.  God bless America!

Proudly Served

Serving proudly.  Dodge is ready to kick some ass with their brothers in arms.  To show appreciation for those who have served, the Stars & Stripes upgrade package will show rank with a black satin strip flowing the entire length of the vehicle and some serious black 20-inch wheels.  The cars will be adorned in black badging and decorated with the United States flag on the fenders.  If Old Glory isn’t enough to scare the imports off the road, a set of bronze finished brake calipers make the cars look spit-shined and ready for action.

Attention to Detail

Attention to detail.  The interior of the cars will feature gold stitching and an embroidered gold star on the seat.  The Stars & Stripes upgrade will boost the base price of the Challenger and Charger up an additional $1,995.00.

Top Brass

Showing off the brass.  If you’re not a veteran or someone that’s exuberantly patriotic but you still want something tough added to your ride, Dodge is offering the Brass Monkey appearance package.  The upgrade features 20-inch Brass Monkey Wheels, black exterior badging and a satin black spoiler and fuel door.  The Brass Monkey appearance package is available for the Challenger and Charger GT, R/T, and Scat Pack models. It is also available on the Dodge Durango, just in case you want to look like a badass while you’re dropping your kids off at school.
