The modifications on the inside of this 1981 Dodge Ram camper van are perhaps even more impressive than the exterior.
Camper Conversion
The Dodge Ram van was one of the unsung heroes of the manufacturer's lineup for decades. The simple design provided plenty of modularity for various uses. One such use of these vans was converting them into campers. The example you see in this slideshow is one such conversion and a rather extensive one at that!

Super '80s
Looking at it from the outside, the most prominent feature of this modified Ram van is the addition of a pair of wheels to the rear. This quintessentially '80s camper van was a six-wheeler before six-wheelers were cool. The wheel arches have been appropriately modified to accept the extra tires. The paint work is another cool element of the Dodge, with light and dark green, as well as silver.

Shaggin Wagon
Step into the cabin, and you'll truly understand what makes this 1981 Dodge special. In here, you can find quilted, padded leather trim gracing nearly every surface of the cabin. The exceptions are the floor, which is covered in shag rug, and then seats, upholstered in fabric. While in original form, the Ram van was capable of seating up to 12, with this conversion seating is limited to only 4, including the driver.

For Sale?
With four windows on each side, a moon roof, and a sunroof, plenty of natural light can be enjoyed from within the cabin. The 20-foot-long camper van is powered by a 5.4-liter V8. The van was recently offered on eBay for sale with a starting bid of $7,300. The seller noted that it needed a bit of work. The listing has since been canceled. Perhaps the seller isn't quite ready to part ways with this unique vehicle?
