Dodge Dakota With a V-10 Viper Engine!

America Is All About the Freedom to Do Whatever the Hell You Want, Especially If It Means Putting the Engine From a Dodge Viper in the Body of a Dodge Dakota.

Seriously, why the hell not?

If you are feeling like your regular pickup truck lacks the luster and power of one of America’s most badass sports cars, fret no more. As you can see from thisĀ Craigslist ad, someone in Idaho creatively and professionally upgraded this unassuming, everyday workhorse into what could easily be the most-amazing sleeper truck in America.

So, if you happen to have $23,000 lying around and want to get the respect you deserve from your fellow yee-hawing brethren, look no further. This 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport powered by a Viper V10 will earn you that respect, and more.

Will you walk away alive after driving this machine? Well, that depends on how much control you have. Vipers are already notoriously difficult to handle, based on power numbers. This Dakota Viper — that’s what I’m calling it — claims to put out 350 HP and around 460 lb-ft of torque, features a manual 6-speed transmission, Hotchkis suspension package with sway bars, larger front brakes, and an additional oil cooler to keep that fire-breathing, freedom machine operational.

We would advise putting some kind of weight over that back axle to keep the rear end on the ground, though. You’ll just have to be a boss at picking up a harem of fat-bottomed girls at the local Piggly Wiggly.

The only thing missing on this truck are American-flag graphics and a living bald eagle mounted to the hood.
