Sizzling Copper Sport 1500 and Sinister Night Edition Heavy Duty Ram Trucks Steal Early Spotlight in the Windy City

The Chicago Auto Show is an important event for brands like Ram, as well as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ other volume brands. Known as the “buyer’s auto show,” Chicago is all about getting in the face of consumers, and showing them what could be.

As a result, Ram has pulled the trigger on two new edition trucks for everyone to see in the Windy City. One of them is the Copper 1500 Sport, and another is the Night edition, which is identical to the 1500’s Night edition, only now its available in the Heavy Duty 2500 and 3500 models. As is typical of Ram, both models have come to life thanks to customer requests.

1500 Copper Sport Limited Edition

The 1500 Copper Sport fulfills thousands of inquiries for a sporty and badass Ram pickup truck. Unlike every other manufacturer, Ram has remained faithful to pickup truck buyers looking for something other than lifted off-road trucks. The Copper Sport limited edition features a first-off Copper Pearl color, and 22-inch polished aluminum wheels. The monochromatic paint job extends to the grille, and features black decals on the hood, as well as black badges all around.

The Copper theme carries through to the interior, where Copper-colored accent stitching and embroidery is featured throughout the cabin. Anodized Copper-colored trim rings contrast loudly against the all-black headliner, dash, and seats. All 3,000 Copper Sport trucks will feature an Alpine premium sound system with subwoofer.

Night Heavy Duty

Ram launched the Night 1500 in September of 2016, and it took the market by storm. Customers left and right were picking up the sinister-looking truck, which is by all means a positive. Unfortunately, Heavy Duty truck owners were left sitting pretty, and wishing their big work trucks could also look as mean. Well, now they can!

The Night package adds blacked-out wheels, grille, and model and engine configuration badges. Furthermore, it features black “RAM” tailgate lettering, which contrasts nicely against any of the six colors the Night package is available in.
