94 Intrepid Stalling Issues...
I have a 1994 Intrepid that stalls out after about an hour of driving. If I let it cool off for about a half hour I can drive it for another hour before it stalls again. It only stalls when I am slowing or have come to a complete stop. Sometimes it does drive for a little more than an hour but then if I happen to park and shut of the car somewhere it won't start until I let it cool down. The engine does turn over but won't actually start.
I took it to a mechanic who hooked it up to his diagnostic machine and told me no error codes came up and he couldn't find any issue with it. (useful!!)
I had a friend who is fairly car handy take a look at it and he said that my alternator puts out 12 volts when it should be 13-14 but he said it doesn't make sense that the car would only stall when it heats up, other than that he couldn't find anything.
I am wondering if anyone else has had this issue or can help me troubleshoot through this. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
EDIT: I should mention that my fluid levels are okay.
