Default can i get rid of the electronic fuel control?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the dodge world and I just picked up an 84 Dodge D100 2 wheel drive 225 slant 6. There were two things I wanted to do, I wanted to remove the smog components and also remove the electronic fuel control or spark control I've heard it called. Is this possible and what would I have to swap out if I can remove these systems?

I found an msd box that will replace the original electronic fuel control. Now I just want to eliminate the smog.

Get a 73 or later electronic distributor with vacuum advance, non computer controlled carb, and an HEI module.
Thats what i did on my 86.
