2003 Dodge Stratus Coupe 2.4L 4cyl SOHC Alternator Belt
Hello,
I am hoping that someone can help me with an alternator belt problem that I am having. I need to replace the alternator belt that fell off, but I am unsure which size to buy. Autozone is saying it's either the alternator/AC belt (37 inches K5) or the alternator/Water Pump belt (57 inches K5). When I look at the pulley system, it looks like the alternator belt goes from the alternator to the first pulley to the right, which would require a 25 inch K5 belt. I am confused if the belt should wrap more than 2 pulleys. I see the Serpentine belt to the right that hits about 3 pulleys including the water pump.
Can anyone help with a diagram, picture, or advice?
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks! So it looks like I need the 37 inch belt. I just now saw that the pulley at the bottom of the engine that is connected to the serpentine belt has two sets of belt grooves. I am thinking that I need to take off the serpentine belt in order to apply the alternator belt. Does this sound like the right direction?
Thanks,
Mike
