Default no air to floor

I have a bigger promblem then you mines doesn't flow out in the rec mode for in cab air only outside and hot is cold and cold is hot you figure this one out on expert told me you have to go to dealer and get drb 3 to to relearn the door programs to make it work properly?

Well i can't find any thing in the manual or internet about this but I think we are on the same tracks.

If you find anything out email me back or repost if any one else has a fix email or post please.

mine is stuck on defrost. i was told that the "door" is broke and wont redirect the air flow. a new heater box is the fix for that. he said its a common problem on rams and on daks as well.

Thank you for your reply about the heater box
I had an astro van and all air flow doors -defrost-mid and floor were
vacuum controlled
If only the defrost worked in my astro defrost was the default position for having no vacume.
I had this problem that sounds like your problem and found main vacuum line broken -I replaced broken vacuum line and then all air flow positions mid ,floor and defrost worked.
On my Dakoto both mid and defrost air flow work so I assumed not a vacuum problem
Having said that I am not sure if vacuum controls actuators on air flow doors in Dakota

One of reasons I posted my problem.
I hope this post helps us both
Sincerely
Richard
Dakota is a recent purchase
