Exclamation Brakes locking up bad!!

I have a 02 dakota 4x4 i have put new brakes all the way around everything is new. something that had just started is if you do anything close to a panic stop the wheels lock up the pedal pulses like the abs is work but i just keep sliding. Thought maybe the calipers were going bad again. ( i had one seize on me a few years back) so i replaced them since they are life time warranty. Also changed the sensor for abs thats in the top of the rear end a bout a year ago. It seems to be getting worse after i changed the calipers. I bleed them for a while to rule out air in the lines. I'm getting afraid to drive it almost sled into a school bus trying to stop any idea whats going on??

Is the ABS light on? It sounds as if the system is working. 4 wheel or rear wheel ABS?

The system pulses when it detects a wheel slowing down more than it should be and shouldn't pulse at any other time.

Think lack of traction, not the brakes. Bad (hard) tires and no weight in the truck.

coming of the interstate on a off ramp as soon as u apply the brake you can feel it start pulsing pretty intense and if you apply more pressure to stop than say going 30 mph and approaching a stop sign it stops ok but anything other than that all the wheels seem to lock up

Are you sure it is the ABS and not a warped rotor? The front brakes do like 90% of the braking. They should not be locking up.

...and what is the condition of those tires, OP? If you think it's really ABS, uplug the ABS system and see if it stops.

I also agree on tires or warped rotor. I can throw myself out the windshield if my tires actually bite instead of slide.
