Default 04 Durango TB lift?

I have been searching online to try to figure out how to do it and i came across these forums... So my question is how do i do a torsion bar lift? I have a 2004 5.7L Limited AWD Durango, I just ordered new rims and bigger tires so im pretty sure that i will need to level out the front. So someone please help me...

Easy. Tighten the bolt on the torsion bar adjusters. I'd suggest getting an alignment afterwards once the new wheels and tires are on and you mess with ride height.

You can also get torsion bar lifts. They are the keys, where the bolt goes, that are clocked differently. Installation involves a big c clamp or the torsion bar tool.

i just cranked the bolts on my stock TB's... from what i read 6 turns will level it out.. on my 05 limited the front still seems a hair lower after 6 turns.. i think 7 woulda been better.. ive seen pics of D's with 8 and the front seems to high.. and you def need to get aligned before you drive it much..

I think a turn equals a 1/4".
