Yeah, and from what I understand, the problem with diesel is the extremely small size of the particulate. That carbon ends up deep in your lungs. I guess we could all spend our lives wearing a face mask with hepa filters. There are some people it would improve the looks of as well.

Oh im aware, but there are "design flaws" in almost every vehicle. Some just more serious than others obviously. Recalls happen all the time. Is this one a little bigger than most? Ya. Is it the first? No. Will it be the last? No.

Glad i dont have an ecoboost though.

If I had to choose, I'd rather have an EcoBoost then anything GM these days...

I looked at the Ford ecoboost trucks before I bought my current Dodge. The sales guy was going to even let me bring my trailer & Jeep over and try towing it. If I liked the power then I might buy one. Never made it back over because I found my diesel and bought it.

Now glad I didn't get one.

They aren't "design flaws", they are design flaws. I don't know about you, but being apathetic toward recalls is not a healthy attitude. I've posted on this forum about my dad's involvement with one of the Big 3 when he was an engineer and how the executives deal with design flaws. This quote from the movie Fight Club is quite accurate:

I would rather purchase from a company that emphasizes thorough quality control and has instituted ISO 9001 standards.

what are those little things that go on your ball joint studs to keep the abs wire from hitting the rotor?

I may have forgot to install those when i did my axle swap.... and my driver side wire got cut in have. I zip tied the passenger side and its fine.

I've heard Sons starts strong but really loses steam around Season 4.

Just a few more weeks and The Doctor returns!

Sons does start strong, Season 4 is more of a shift in the direction of the club, it exposes how far certain club members will go to protect themselves at all costs, including taking out club members and family.
