Then a couple of the sensor may be different, but, I believe you should just be able to swap them over..... aside from that, bolt it in, hook it up, and down the road you go.

is it possible for me to use a 96 Dodge Ram 5.2 V8 trans 2x4 in a 98 5.9 V8 2x4?

I believe they were asking about the trans.
