Thanks, I get the feeling most don't like the "factory" people. Just trying to help change the image of the greedy mechanic.

has anyone ever gotten an oil leak from a blown head gasket, i am currently checking that, i already removed the old head and im ready to install the new one (as i speak). Also can i reuse the old head bolts. i did see that they are alittle longer than new ones (like 2 dimes put sideways ex. _ _ one stacked on top of the other)

i think its fine to reuse head bolts. the only ones i would not reuse are intake (TTY) and exhaust manifold (age/heat/weak).

i'd clean the threads with a brush and oil em up good.
