Will it do that on any speed setting?

Well, the u-joint isn't that bad... check for a zerk fitting first, and grease the snot out of it.

This thread. Download the 96 service manual. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W.

I desperately need help. I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 V10. Motor blew so I bought a replacement from a 1995 Dodge Ram V10. I realize the replacement is OBD1 and it has EGR valve. So I switched Intake Manifolds complete with fuel rails and throttle bodies and passenger side exhaust manifold. I also switched crank sensor and cam sensor. Once complete attempted start. Getting fuel but no fire to plugs. Pulled one plug and verified. Was told that if cam sensor was not installed correctly that damage would occur to sensor which of course would cause the no fire. Then I was told that it was more serious that I now had to remove the front of the engine in order to change something called the firing ring on the front of the camshaft that the 1995 and the 1999 used different rings. Is any of this true? Please please help clarify this for me. My truck has been down for 2-months.

Default Similar issues, 97 v10

Hey all,
Down to no fuel pressure but have spark. Have voltage at crank and cam sensors, voltage at fuel pump when key is turned but then ASD. Cam sensor is new yesterday. Crank sensor is new 2 years ago. Is this a crank sensor problem to shut down fuel?

any ideas what to do next?
i've been reading alot of threads and topics.. " hey you" seems to know his s**t.....

TIA.....ttrash
so i just picked up a 94 2500 v10 and im having a crank no spark issue i have two different pcm’s one is the original one is from i dont know where it came with the truck but i had to get ignition coils from a salvage yard and i connected them and i have nothing. The resistance on the coils are good. I havent had a chance to check voltage yet but i have a connector coming off the 4 pack thats a run off from the green and orange wire and i have no idea where it goes to. All interior lights come on the fuel pump primes no problem. I started trying to crank it once i got crank and cam sensors in with starting fluid and i got it so close to starting with that but it died out cuz i ran out of starter fluid so i ran to the gas station and got a few gallons and put it in but i havent been able to get it since. After doing some research ive found a diagram and it says that that green and orange wire is an asd wire could that be why im not getting any spark at all?

on this diagram it looks like the green and orange wires from both coil packs intersect but i have no idea where this little connector goes or if its a ground or not.
