Default How to remove window/lock switch plate?

Hey everybody,
I just picked up a 97 1500. I need to fix/replace passenger side window switch. I started prying the switch plate, but when it didn't released was afraid to break it. Anybody know how that plate comes off? Do I need to remove the whole door panel or just keep prying?

This video will show you how to remove the door panel so that you can access the switch.

We carry a new switch for that window too if you need one. Here's a link to them on our website. Dodge Ram power Window Switch

If you take out the two screws the hold the door pull in, you can pull that out, and get access to the rear clip that holds that plate in. (the one that likes to break.....) Just push it in, get it to clear the door panel, and then the front should just pop out relatively easily. (it's a spring clip, metal, so a bit more durable.....) the harness is long enough that you can pull it out far enough to do what you need to.
