Pressure test the coolant system that'd help with tracking down the intake leak if it existed

Until then any ideas or other information will be greatly appreciated.
The results of the compression test will reveal a lot about whats goin on in there.

You can check the plenum with a dentist mirror, take the air hat off, open TB and have a peak with the mirror. Look for pooling oil. Spray pattern near PCV is normal.

I doubt an intake gasket leak would get coolant into the combustion chamber. Passages are good distance from intake ports.....

If it is burning coolant, you either have a blown headgasket, or cracked head. Worst case would be cracks in the cylinder wall, but, you would have had to seriously overheat the engine to manage that......

In any event, heads are going to need to come off. Personally, I wouldn't even bother taking them to the machine shop. Just replace them. You can pick up a pair of NEW, better casting heads, for around 600 bucks.

Yep. From Odessa/Clearwater Cylinder head in Florida.

Titan Engines also has them on ebay, for 560 for a pair. Also with free shipping. Not familiar with them though.

Ok I did a compression test on it. Here are the results.

Drives side/ front to back
1. 90 to 80 psi
2. 80 to 85
3. 80 to 90
4. 80

Passenger side/ front to back
1. 100
2. 70 to 80
3. 90
4. 100

Specs say it should be 100psi
What do ya think?

Are you sure you have a good, air-tight seal on your compression gauge hose? The numbers seem very low.

Main thing is they are alll within 15% of each other.

100-70 is a 30% drop

You have some problems.

Do a wet test, squirt a zlittle oil in cylinder, then see what your numbers are.

Yes. I did the test multiple times on all cylinders just to be sure.

Sorry. OReillys wanted 40 sum bucks for the compression tester so I just rented it instead. Had to take it back yesterday.
They say to put oil in the cylinders to check for worn rings. The truck doesnt burn oil. Just alot of coolant. I know this truck has a serious problem.
