Default Temp gauge not working

The temp gauge on my truck ain't working, I have replaced the t-stat, the cts sensor right beside it, still nothing. Where is the other sensor located at? Is it the IAT sensor? What else do I need to check to try and get the gauge working?

Both temp sensors are in the same area, within a couple inches of each other. One will only have one wire, the other will have two.

Temp sensor for the gauge is just inboard of the heater hose coming out of the intake manifold on the passenger side. One wire connector, as noted above.
