Fuel Mileage

That's a good tip. I also get 12 with no mods bone stock, wheels and all, 150k miles. 2001 quad cab 5.9 owned since new. Also noticed similar #s to what Spillage reported. The good thing is I work from home and don't have a commute, otherwise I would have to get an economical vehicle if/when I return permanently to the office.

Loss in mileage
After replacing practically ALL of my sensors (which I now have to replace the CKPS with a genuine Mopar one this weekend cause the generic one is crapping out) from coolant temp down to both O2 sensors, replacing plugs, wires, distributor, coil.
And exhaust from headers back cause of a clogged cat, I've jumped from 10-12 to 15-16 on the highway. Hitting 200 miles just before I hit the 1/2 tank mark.
Too bad all this crap had to be done in January/February outside in the cold..
I don't always drive like a puss, but when I do, my MPG's make a small jump.

I have two Laramie's both stock 318s but set up differently. The "new" one has 3.92 with 265s =1500 rpm @ 55mph I get 14's as high as 16 in the summer @ 60 on the highway. Drops to 11 maybe 10 all short driving in the winter as temps get down to 0 or below
The "old" one has 3.55 with 245 =1600 rpm @ 55. It will reach up to 19 all hwy @ 55. Short driving is 13 14 dropping as temp recedes into the teens & 0. It seems these pickup trucks are unable to get full use of the auto in cold temps. I had a 01 which could only get 10-12 ever. It was a 1500 2 wheel 3.55 with 225 tires, go figure

Checked the plenum no oil that I can see it has about 196,000 miles on it. I also changed the front o2 sensor and I am about to do a oil change. Ran some fuel injector cleaner in it and I only run premium gas in all my vehicles
