How did the switch connector look when you had it off?

That is indeed a strange one.

Welcome to DF!

It looked fine.

Anyway I went to O'reilly earlier because they had a different brand so I tried that one because I kept getting the carquest one.. the only reason I even suggested getting a new one was because my buddy has a 96 5.9 and we put his switch in and it worked.. so I went and gave this switch a try and wha la... it worked.

part number 2HLS20 worked Master Pro
part number S2064 BWD wouldn't work 2 of them that I bought and mine failed for whatever reason..

so yeah either way problem is fixed /thread. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Well that was simple enough.... Wonder why the bwd parts didn't wanna work. Strange.

Wouldn't be the first time I got a 'new' part that was bad, right out of the box though.

But, its FIXED! Congrats.
