Default general ?

I'm happy to be the proud owner of a 2k4 Dodge Dakota Chrome package SLT + and has the 5 speed AT 4.7L V-8. What products can I put make my engine to make it run alot cooler. I want more horsepower but want to make it fuel efficiency or is it one or the other. Any suggestion would help.

the common idea is a colder engine will ware faster. BUT we used to run them at 160 degrees F. and if they lasted 100,000 miles we was lucky. the hotter engine will drive more water out of the engine. and all / most acids in your oil are water base.

We gotta stop reviving these 9 1/2 year old threads. Like I did earlier.

What's up with the forum?

It is fixed now. There was a glitch that changed the thread sorting.
