I've had these bulbs in my last vehicle as backup and drl's for almost a year with no issues. Only bulb I had and issue with was a switchback bulb.

Only pain was wiring in the load resistor to eliminate the hyper flashing because I replaced my stock turn signal with the switchbacks. I did it on my Escalade. Looked and worked great.

BUMP for an old thread.
I want to replace the fogs with something I can actually see with. What is the long term verdict from you guys that replaced them months ago? What option is the best bang for the buck, that doesn't break the bank and won't melt the housing, all while giving me more light output over stock.

Thanks
2011 Crew.

I tried the LED route. But they turned up being just for show. Living in upstate New York, I needed something that would give me better light output. I installed the Bling Lights BL-5000K lights and I am very happy with the light output. (glass lenses and H3 bulbs). I just bought a set for my son's Charger and he will be getting them under the tree. I am not connected with Bling Lights in any way.

How did you mount them in the factory holes? How do you turn them on Factory wires or relay system?
Thanks

I am interested in this also. I bought a 35watt 5000K kit()just for the fog's on my 13 R/T and they melted in three weeks time. Both sides. Matter of fact I pick up the new fog light for the drivers side today and will be running the stock lights for a while.

I was able to just splice into the factory wiring. When you remove the OEM foglights I was able to run a screw into the new lights mounting bracket. Piece of cake for someone with moderate mechanical skills. About an hour to install.
