WOw, really. Thst dinky POS is an option. Something we extra for. I would have told them to shove it, but Im sure it came with your trucks. What a crock if donkey poo.

Thank you for taking the time to post the pics. I like being informed and I never knew that was an option or even came on the trucks. Seems the "convenience" package should have included the hood struts (since they are convenient) and the non-existent tailagte lowering spring/strut.
I hate when management gets in the way of engineers. Really, just to make another million. Engineers are good, management is what needed the bailout

Yeah the switch is in the housing itself, whether it's mercury or whatever it senses level and kills the light.

Mercury. hmmmmm. There has got to be a plunger switch somewhere. Like the door switch. Either way, they prob should be replaced. I like light and will be adding one soon. I will post pics. I am very happy with the performance of the autozone led strips. The power required is so low it almost does not work in triggering a relay and the light output is quite high and the cost is 29.99 for the higher output lights
