Default 09 ram 2500 hemi. fuel pump keeps dying.

I have 09 ram 2500. With a hemi. Changed fuel pump it ran for 2 days and died. So I bought another new one thinking is a weird coinsidence that new fuel pump died. So it ran for 1 day perfectly and died again. What could be the problem.

Did you actually apply power to the first replacement pump after you pulled it.


Its possible that a solid state relay in your TIPM is giving you problems.

Yes I hot wired the old fuel pumps and they did not work. Where is the tipm relay at?

tipm stands for "totally integrated power module" they are electronic on yours.


Best bet is to see if you can warranty the bad one, hopefully the next will go the distance
