Default RAM 2016 Limited: factory running boards or amp powerstep?

Which option do you think look the best for a 2016 RAM Limited ?

- With the factory running boards

or

- With some AMP powersteps ?

I think the factory running boards look just fine on a stock truck.

I, however, leave nothing stock, so i have went with AMP Powersteps on my last two Rams.

One advantage of "regular" running boards is that they also provide some protection to the bottom edge of the body.

From what ive seen of the AMP power, they do to, But they fold up alot closer to the rocker panels. Ive got the factory ones and love them, But ive I had to option I would go with the powered ones.

I believe what he meant was stock boards protect the rockers more as the power steps retract and tuck away exposing the rockers.

Fender flares help a little, but somewhat dependant on your cosmetic priorities.

casting a vote for the stock boards, especially the chrome ones. They look good.

If money is not an issue, go with Amp steps. They look cool and won't sacrifice ground clearance.
