Can you select & unselect this feature while moving without any damage to the trany ?

Yes, I have done it IOT have the MDS disabled.

Yes, there is no issue ive had. It just changes how it gears and turns the mds off. If its in a gear it normally wouldnt use, it will wait and change afew seconds after.

If you have the 8-speed transmission it does not de-feature the MDS.
