[3rd Gen : 96-00]: Who has highest mileage Caravan without engine rebuild?
#62
I think mine had a slightly worn main bearing that would make vague noise with low oil or when parked with tail lower that nose.
EDIT: Also, FYI there is a company that makes very high quality trans coolers that work well with them for around $250.00

My 07 sxt with the 3.3 (used as a taxicab) was at 650,000 at the beginning of January, when a woman ran a red light downtown and destroyed it. It was still running beautifully. No smoking, pulled strong with no hesitation. I didn't have to add oil between changes. All original engine and tranny. Motor had oil changes every 9k miles with Shell Rotella T6 5w40 synthetic diesel oil, filter changed every second oil change with a synthetic oil filter (usually mobil1 or k&n). Tranny fluid and filter changed every 60k miles with mopar atf 4+. Just a great little van!

How about our 2006 Grand Caravan SXT with 237K miles?
We got it new in late 05 and finally changed the oil and filter at 200K (just kidding)
The wires and plugs have not been changed and there has been no major issues
It doesn't us oil .
The passenger sliding power door lock doesn't work and the powered driver's sliding door is intermittent.
I know how to fix both problems but don't have time.
It got 22.7 mpg on a 750 mile round trip over the last two days at 75-80 mph most of the time.
When it was at 220K I talked my wife into a new van.
She insisted that it be like the 2006 caravan so I got her a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country van - the same color etc.
She would not let me sell her old van because she was not sure she would like the T&C.
Now she likes the T&C but still wants to keep the Caravan, so it is our third vehicle.
