My parents have a 2002 Dodge Caravan SE 3.3L Flex Fuel V6 with 208K miles original engine and transmission. Had oil changes 3-4K and transmission flushes every 30K. This thread is proof of why Chrysler has been the king of minivan sales. I said it before and I will say it again, if Chrysler put the same level of effort in the rest of their models as they put into their minivans they would be the king of more segments.

Dodge Caravan
I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan with 264000 miles. The past February I replaced the original battery, shocks, struts & alternator. I have had to replace the radiator twice & I am ready to replace a second driver side window motor. Everything is running great except the body is starting to rust. I am hoping it takes me at least another 100k before I have to buy another one. I purchased this one with I think 14 original miles on it.

I have a 2005 Grand Caravan that I bought in March of 2012 with 131,000 miles on it. As of 12/2/13 it has 372,000 and change. I use it for work and put @ 3,000 interstate miles per week on it. Original engine and tranny as far as I know. Have had to replace radiator and inner tie rod ends but that's about it (other than 2 sets of tires per year, lol). I change the oil @ 6,000 miles (twice a month). Can't complain about this one.

I just did a compression test on this van and got 180 on five cylinders and 175 on one.
Not too shabby.
The scary part was I did it cold first and got 70 on one cyl. 75 on another and 155 on a third.
Also, since I'm a diesel guy, I forgot about that throttle plate thingie and I didn't have it open so I'm sure that effected the numbers a bit as well.

just sold one with 267k I drove daily.. 98 3.0 with 41te. Tranny slipped without some lucas and smoked some at startup do to valve seals. I also did the solder job on the gauge cluster and it never stopped working again. One front ABS sensor was dead too. I went everywhere in it and it didn't lag. Also it needed new fuel pump and filter, and one of the O2 sensors were DTC.
If I had time for the labor I would of bought a rebuilt 3.0 and fixed the problems, but it didn't have roof rack or the dedicated tranny cooler like my '01 has, and it was the teal color.. I pull small trailers and campers on the interstate often with them..
EDIT: I used HM Pennzoil with the cleaning agents, 5 qt $18.00 at walmart, with FRAM filter. Also autolite single-platinum plugs, the correct coolant and autozone ATF+4.
