I'd bet Steve45ca won't answer you. That thread is from April through October 2011.

An injector "driver wire" is just the ground wire from the PCM to the injector. Injector power comes from the ASD relay. PCM fuel injector "drivers" in the PCM apply grounds to individual fuel injectors based on cam/crank sensor timing inputs. Once the ground is applied the injector sprays fuel. If I had your model year I could tell you which wire is the ground and which is power. Any more details?

Thank you for the breakdown, I'm working through this issue myself so I need the education. I have a 00' 1500 5.2L Magnum. I also haven't been able to identify which cylinder is #6.

I just had this issue. Misfire on number 6. It turned out to be a bad plug wire. Replaced wire set and this took care of the problem.
