I'm new to this scene and know next to nothing about older cars. I was wondering if it's possible to stuff a 440 into a 1967 dodge coronet with a 383 in it? If so, what would I need to make that conversion possible?
Yes it will fit. And there is too much involved to state it here. I suggest you search for videos and other information from dedicated dodge coronet forums.
As a suggestion, it is not a good idea to have your email address as your username.
It's a simple swap! Pull out the 383 and drop in the 440. One thing you should be aware of you need hardened valve seats in the head. Depending on what year the 440 is it may or may not have them. If you use today's gas with out hardened seats the valves will bury themselves in the head. Take the valve cover off one of the heads and post the casting # on the head, I'll tell you what it has.
