Dodge Truck Boost Options
#21
honestly, hadn't heard anythingon them. all i kept seein was that there were not good gaskets. but if you go with a s/c or turbo... might as well get the gaskets too.
now can head studs help the engine out even without goin forced induction?

There is no need for head studs if you arn't running n20 or forced induction. The cometics people will argue they arn't worth the money, and people will argue they are worth the money. People will argue head studs arn't worth it, some will. I myself am running cometics with head studs, this allows me to torque the heads done beyond the factory spec's, thus the heads WON"T lift under heavy boost causing a blow out.

daily driven vehicles are boosted. it doesn't matter if its for daily driving or track... just depends on how its built and what boost your running... you don't want something tuned for .. say 9s for daily use lol

My truck is a daily driver and I love it. A guy I work with drives an SRT8 Magnum and he gets about 11mpg in the city. I get right around 15-16mph city and I ran a fraction of a second faster than him at the track. If I stack the price of my truck with its performance mods against the price of his SRT8 new, I'm about six grand cheaper.
Bondslayer can tell you there are daily drivers in the DFW Truck Club running 9s and 10s in the 1/4. Its just crazy. lb79theone, I think your truck would be sick boosted.
