The EDZ is DOHC, the EY7 is SOHC.
If its DOHC, i actually used the exhaust gasket (its MLS, very nice) from a DOHC stratus as opposed to one for a neon, sebring, etc, cause those are all crap.
An off the shelf DOHC neon manifold (from an aftermarket company) should bolt up - but i don't know what the space looks like between the back of the engine and the firewall...usually there is enough space though if its similar to a neon.
I'm pretty sure the cheapest way to go is with SRT4 pistons/rods, you used to be able to get them from cheap, i don't know if thats still true or not...but neon guys who swapped to 2.4 blocks from a stratus all just used them - they fit fine IIRC.
Hahn Race Craft sells manifolds for DOHC blocks i believe...then get a turbo and a welder, you're going to have to figure out how to get the exhuast to fit back up. Also, figure out a path to run boost pipes. If you get an intercooler, you're getting into even more mess...
The simplest way for more gas is to get a RRFPR, and a new gas pump (walbro) or at least an inline booster pump.
And what's a "turbo intake manifold"? Yours should be fine, i think some of the neon guys even run a plastic one sometimes.
EDIT: Actually, the easiest way for you will be to find a "turbo stratus" they made down in mexico, and steal all the parts off of it...bolt right up...and i think some guys use the SRT4 crap, it should bolt up too i imagine...it has a manifold/turbo all built into one thing...if it fits in the given space...and those are usually cheap to find...

After reading pearl01stratcpe's posts, I got really discouraged. It was just an idea and he came onto me like he knows everything there is to know about the stratus and it seemed like he was trying to say "I'm better than you". I'm scrapping the project and I'm just gonna get a 2.4L EDV HO out of a Chrysler PT Cruiser and do an engine swap.
