1st gen transmission pan bolts
Hi there !
I recently bought a european 2000 Chrysler Stratus (Cirrus) 2.5L with A/S, as a birthday gift for my little brother. The car is great! This is the 5th Chrysler/Dodge car I buy (98 Neon, 02 Stratus, 99 300M, 01 300M) and the 2nd Chrysler on duty in the family along with my 01 300M.
Before letting her go with my brother, I flushed the transmission and engine oils. I found out Chrysler dealership striped 4 tranny bolt threads in the tranny case and didn't repair them... They simply made a huge mess with RTV everywhere...
I replaced the filter and installed the gasket that came with the new ATP filter.
It doesn't look like leaking but I don't want to feel stupid later, so I'd like to plan things ahead and buy some "Helicoils", just in case, to be ready
But I don't want to mess with the bolts until then!
So my question is, do you know the specs of the pan bolts, so I can find the matching set of Helicoils without getting a bolt out first?
Thanks in advance
