I just like a snow for hunting... Last year was crappy because on top of the snow was ice lol...
I'll have to give ice fishing a shot this year, I have pond next to my house and saw some people fishing on it last winter.

Ya the snow is nice for hunting that's for sure, does your ice freeze thick enough to drive on it with your truck?

No way, well I'm not sure, but I would never try it... lol

The I can throw a rock and hit the pond from my house, so I will just walk lol.

I would be so damn nervous driving anything on the ice, do you guy drive on the lakes there????

ya usually by christmas the ice is thick enough to drive on, usually about 16" of good ice. By the end of winter it is about 3' thick, whippin doughnuts in the middle of a frozen lake is the best lol
