Default Dodge Stealth timing belt problem

I have a '92 Stealth. The timing belt jumped 5 teeth. At this time, the mechanic who is
working on my car has no idea what caused this to happen. The timing belt was changed
8 months ago as well as the water pump. I have damage to 2 cylinders. The belt is not damaged.
What could have caused this to happen?

MAybe the tensioner went bad or shifter postion, waterpump locked up, pulley slipped on shaft, etc. Could be several different things.
