Default MMO.....

Well, i put some MMO (Marvels Mystery Oil) in my gas and my oil and im not impressed. I have heard many claims that this stuff saves gas. But for me it almost seems to make the car run a little richer, which isnt saving any gas at all. I just saying is there anything else that i could buy that would 1) Benefit the motor (clean intake valves, ect.) 2) Gain my mpg 3)Doesn't cost a **** load of money!

Never mind cause i see how many people actually visit this section. Oh well i filled up the car and only got 26.5 mpg when i got 29 without the MMO. I just changed the oil also to get rid of the MMO.

How many tanks did you run through it before figuring out your mileage?

It helps a LOT in V8s, V10s, and Diesel motors.

For a good average, when figuring out gain/loss for any mod, you should go through at least 3-5 tanks

Alright thanx i will remember that. Well it is good to have a conversation with a fellow Wisconsin resident. As for gas mileage, I feel bad for you. What do you get with that thing? 13 mpg maybe or 15 something like that?

15 Highway, but it doesn't get driven much due to the gas prices [:'(] though I did have it out this weekend to pull a trailer. What's worse is I run premium blend due to the PCM I'll be doing a few mods in the next couple months before I store it (the truck) for the winter. With my intake and throttle body, I should be able to see 16...maybe 16.5mpg highway.

I drive a '90 Grand Prix coupe with a 3.1L v6 most of the time, which gets about 31mpg. I'm looking to get a 4cyl Fiero though....they average around 40mpg [8D]
