Question Van/Truck swap

I just acquired a '99 Dodge 2500 2wd 5.9 Van. with only 72k miles on it. The engine runs perfect. No leaks. And was maintained meticulously. BUT The frame was rotted in two, in several spots... ie MN... I want to know if I will have any issues using that motor in my '00 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4. which is in good shape. But has 190k miles on it. and is getting noisy and weak.

It should bolt right in, and hook right up. If you have a manual trans in your truck, you will have to do something about the pilot bushing though.

The only difference I can see is that all the bracketry is different on the front of the van's motor. To accommodate for the cramped space, So I think I will just have to take all the bracketry off my trucks motor and put it on the vans motor... I will be using the van's engine, torque converter, and various other things... But now I will have a nice aluminum drive shaft, and perfect 8 lug rear end laying in the yard. whats the easiest way to get the motor/trans out of a van like that??? torch the frame?? or pull the front clip?? remember the frame is shot

And the truck, and the van are both automatics. I will also have a perfect 2wd
trans laying around too. which only needs the pan gasket. (hereditary leak problem)

Pull the radiator, and core support, take it all out in one piece, thru the big hole you just created. A/C condenser will have to go too, if it is so equipped.
