2026 Dodge Viper Renderings Make Us Pine for the Return of the Snake

These artist renderings of a 2026 Dodge Viper look pretty amazing to us, and make us wish that the beloved sports car would return.

As most Mopar fans are well aware by now, the Dodge Viper is no more after the beloved supercar was discontinued following the 2017 model year. The Viper seemed destined to exist only as a show car when it debuted as a concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit back in 1989, but public reception to that model was so positive that Dodge did the unthinkable and brought it to life – basically unchanged from its concept form, amazingly enough. Though it’s been gone for some time now, these new 2026 Dodge Viper renderings now have us pining for a comeback, however.

YouTuber Evrim Özgün is responsible for creating these 2026 Dodge Viper renderings, which he shows off in a recent video, and to us at least, they look pretty spot on. All of the requisite exterior styling details we’d expect from a new Viper are present and accounted for, starting up front with familiar headlights similar to the previous-gen model, along with the same sort of facia – albeit, one that’s been more heavily stylized and fitted with some different air intakes and a large lip.

The same is true of the vented hood, which could help provide the engine bay with some more cool air, as well as the heavily stylized fenders, which sweep and cut into the doors quite dramatically. There are vents present there to extract heat, while we also see the Viper’s signature side exhaust tips peeking out beneath the doors. The large black wheels are wrapped with racy-looking white lettered rubber, leading us to an interesting rear end.

There, beneath a gigantic wing, we see a very modern looking taillight setup that spans the entire width of the rear, and it’s filled with many individual lighting elements. The diffuser is rather complex and integrated neatly into the bottom portion of the rear bumper, sporting a third brake light and flanked by rectangular exhaust tips. Overall, this imaginary 2026 Dodge Viper looks pretty amazing to us, and we could easily see something like this appealing to folks who wish that beloved model would indeed make a comeback.
