A Closer Look at the 2013 Viper Logo

“Stryker”. That’s the name of the Viper’s newest mascot and it looks pretty freaking cool. I don’t know about you all, but the last one looks positively evil. I like it.
Vince Galante, designer of the new logo, says that the design was actually inspired by the art animation of the 80’s and 90’s. Specifically, he mentions the Thundercats. “I never looked at images of the Thundercats while I was doing the new
logo,” said Galante, “but after the fact, I realize that the new design has some
elements of those graphics, but more intentionally has some lines that
reflect the new Viper.”
We’re all still curious to see these “lines” that Galante mentions (and that the teaser hints at), but I guess we’ll have to content ourselves with Stryker until next year.
