The Challenger Scat Pack Is the Perfect Burnout-Teaching Tool

Challenger Scat Pack 10

About a month ago, I got to play with the all-new Dodge Challenger Scat Pack and its 485 horsepower at El Mirage dry lakebed in Southern California. While I tried to set a top speed, something I wouldn’t be able to do until testing the Charger Scat Pack, I did find a few choice deserted roads to teach my wife how to properly do a burnout.

She’s already a hotshoe when it comes to thrashing a car through canyons, but she didn’t know how to do a brake torque burnout. What better car to teach such a needed skill than Dodge’s own bargain muscle car, the Challenger Scat Pack? She did a few attempts, and while the first was a bit hesitant, the second, third, and fourth times resulted in some considerable tire destruction and smoke creation.

The back drop of El Mirage doesn’t hurt either. Check out the full gallery of the Challenger Scat Pack below. Enjoy.
