The Highly Photogenic Dodge Charger Scat Pack Is a Performance Bargain

A few weeks ago, we were able to spend some time in the Dodge Hellcat Charger’s little brother, the Charger Scat Pack. Honestly, for $40,000, it offers one of the best performance bargains you could ask for. You get nearly 500 horsepower and a top speed of 175 miles per hour, which we almost hit at El Mirage dry lakebed in Southern California. It’s absolutely perfect, apart from the door seals, which didn’t exactly keep out the dust as we pushed the big muscle car to 173 miles per hour.

What it also does is photograph extremely well on the lakebed. It looks absolutely gorgeous with that little bit of sand caked on the car. I defy you to find a bad picture in the gallery below.
