This reasonably priced, dealer-installed upgrade unlocks serious power from any Charger Hellcat or similar model.

Though it has sadly been discontinued, the Charger Hellcat is certain to live on for a very long time, given how incredibly popular the supercharged, V8-powered sedan has been for many years now. There’s also certain to be a high demand for upgrades for the Charger Hellcat as well, which is already the case, as there are numerous ways one can extract even more power from these cars already. Now, we have yet another enticing option to choose from – the Demon Package from Palmer Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Roswell, Georgia.

The new Demon Package was developed in conjunction with YouTuber and Charger Hellcat owner Knockout 360, who recently documented the results of those upgrades in the video below. With a price tag of $5,800, the new package adds a Griptec 2.85 upper pulley, a Gates green belt, Demon injectors, a 180-degree thermostat, PCM unlock with an HP access cable, an engine and transmission tune, crankcase breather, Per4mance billet differential brace, and a crank pin kit.

Palmer Dodge claims that this package will enable any Charger Hellcat to churn out more than 800 horsepower at the wheels and 900+ at the crank, and it can do so on a variety of vehicles, in fact – the 2015-2023 Charger, Challenger, TrackHawk, TRX, and Durango. On top of those upgrades, Knockout 360 went for some options including a nicer intake, larger throttle body, and various other bits and pieces that should help it extract even more power, and take the price up to just under $7k.

Regardless, that’s some solid bang for the buck, and in the case of this particular Charger Hellcat, it’s now making a significant 924 horsepower at the crank and 800 at the wheels, which is rather impressive. Out on the street, it’s pretty evident that the power is there, as a simple blip of the throttle is enough to turn the large, 315 rear tires into smoke pretty much on command. This particular car has some slicks for that purpose, and they look like a necessity for anyone that wants to hook with this kind of power.

Thus, the new Demon Package certainly looks like a solid option for any Hellcat owner seeking a big power upgrade for a reasonable outlay of cash. Of course, there are plenty of routes one can go to achieve similar results, but they typically cost big bucks – plus, in this case, having the gear installed at an actual dealer gives one a little extra peace of mind, too.
