Dodge Charger Pursuit Build

The right mods make this Dodge Charger Pursuit look and drive absolutely nothing like the police patrol car that it used to be.

These days, a lot of YouTubers are more keen to purchase newer vehicles, slap on some easy mods like wheels, tires, and perhaps a few bolt-on performance upgrades, and then giveaway those vehicles in an effort to make some money and rack up views. While there’s nothing wrong with that, really, we’re far more interested in the folks that go out and buy salvage or otherwise cheap vehicles and give them a more comprehensive transformation – builds like this very cool Dodge Charger Pursuit from the folks at Atlantic Beach Customs.

In this new video, the 2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit is undergoing some final touches, but it was purchased ultra-cheap to begin with bearing loads of promise with all-wheel-drive and the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 underhood. That whole process stared a while back with some exterior mods, which is quite obvious to those that are just tuning in for this final stage – after all, this certainly doesn’t look anything like a police vehicle anymore.

Rather, it looks like a proper road-eating Charger, thanks to the presence of a variety of mods adorning the exterior. Those include, in this case, a Hellcat widebody kit, which is perhaps the best way to go with any of these models that didn’t come equipped with such gear from the factory. To that rather attractive base, Atlantic Beach Customs added a full-blown satin black vinyl wrap that looks absolutely sinister. Truthfully, there’s probably no better way to achieve that kind of intimidating look, and it’s capped off with a total blackout job throughout that extends to the wheels.

Peek inside the cabin, and one won’t find some basic Dodge Charger Pursuit interior ripe with holes where equipment used to be, nor mysterious stains in the back seat, either. Rather, Atlantic Beach Customs outfitted this police cruiser with a full interior swap from a Scatpack, so it’s a much more pleasant place to be. Of course, no proper Charger build would be complete without some performance upgrades as well, and in this case, the Hemi has received an SDPC Stage 2 cam and tune, along with a full custom exhaust – making for a truly cool and affordable build that one could easily replicate with a little elbow grease.
