Classic Power Wagon Hauls Daytona to Track

Does that Daytona have a Hemi? How about the truck?
In our usual afternoon browsing of the internets, we came across the picture above over on the Hooniverse. Looks like someone at a track day at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond, California has all the cool Mopar toys! Not only does this mystery man own a super-rare winged Dodge Daytona, he hauls it on a Dodge Power Wagon crew cab tow rig from the same era.
We had to find out more about this most interesting man.

We were able to discover that the group at Willow that day was All Time Racing, with their annual all-Mopar track day. Once a year, on the Thursday before the Spring Fling Mopar Show in Van Nuys, this group hosts a day for any Mopar enthusiast to wring it out on the big track. These Hot Rod Magazine pictures show this year’s track day was packed full of priceless muscle cars, a 24 Hours of Lemons Duster, and even a new Jeep Renegade.

CHECK OUT: What Forum Members Are Saying About This Impressive Mopar Set-up
Even though the driver in this picture doesn’t look like a god, surely he is no mere mortal? Back tracking the pictures through various forums reveals that yes, this thing does have a Hemi! And pictures also reveal it has a 4-speed too, and very few creature comforts inside. But, it is not a real priceless Daytona. It is a clone, however, built up from a Charger 500 with genuine Daytona parts. That means that you don’t have to be a billionaire to be able to play with it, and play he does.

It appears the owner and driver of this mythic beast is Tim from All Time Racing, and yes, he does seem to have all the Mopar toys. On his Instagram, we found his Power Wagon hauling home another example.

And thanks to All Time Racing’s Facebook page, we also found some awesome video of the beast in action.
