Holy Hades! Dodge Introduces Hellephant-powered Super Charger!
Dodge Forum is at SEMA where Dodge is bringing some serious Mopar hellfire with a 1,000 horsepower SuperCharger.
If there is one thing that is sure to blow you away at this year’s SEMA, it is the sheer amount of power Dodge is summoning with the Hellephant. The new supercharged Hemi crate engine is powering their Super Charger concept with staggering 1,000 horsepower. Dodge Mopar did not come to play!
The Hellephant engine is a star attraction in its own right. Based on the Hellcat Redeye and Demon, the Hellephant also takes its inspiration from the 1960s-era Elephant 426 Hemi V8.
The Hellephant is decidedly tougher and rougher. At 426 cubic-inches, the Hellephant tops the Hellcat engine with more bore and stroke and…everything!
There is no better way to show off this beast than to put it in a 1968 restomod Dodge Charger. Add some badass mods and the Super Charger is born, and it is amazing.
Featuring fiberglass fender, flares, and hood, the Super Charger pairs the Hellephant to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The look of the Super Charger matches the Hellephant crate engine perfectly; it’s a menacing, snarling, and very sexy beast.
The Hellephant badging is an excellent and very sharp touch.
Another exciting aspect to the Hellephant is it a OEM crate motor that can be installed in your classic ride starting next year.
Of course there are restrictions, cars will have to be 1976 or earlier to qualify.
This is without a doubt one of the coolest things to come out of SEMA this year. We can’t wait to see and hear this baby go.
We will bringing you more from SEMA, so keep checking back in!
