The Dodge, Ram, Jeep, and Chrysler brands are helping celebrate the Declaration of Independence via a new ad campaign and unique models.

The implementation of tariffs on imported automobiles and various other goods over the past few months has shed a light on one thing, in particular – where each automaker builds vehicles and sources parts for them. In that vein, one could easily forget that the Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, and Jeep brands have deep roots in the U.S. dating back more than a century, even though their parent company – Stellantis – is based in The Netherlands. Recently, the automaker launched a new ad campaign to remind us of that fact.

This new campaign – dubbed “America Made Us” – is part of a broader partnership with America250, an organization that Congress has instructed to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Stellantis is the exclusive automotive sponsor of this effort, which will celebrate that milestone in U.S. history all year long.

“Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands hold a special place in the hearts of many Americans, whether it’s the stirring ‘Imported from Detroit’ campaign, which cast a spotlight on an American city that rose from the ashes, or Ram’s ‘God Made a Farmer,’ which paid homage to American farm workers and their families,” said Olivier Francois, global chief marketing officer. “America – its people, its traditions, its history – inspire everything we do, how we do it and the way we dream about our next 250 years together. Our ‘America Made Us’ will be a yearlong campaign celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and the people who have made, and continue to make, our brands what they are today.”

When working to come up with a concept for the America Made Us ad campaign, Francois immediately thought of the now-famous Chrysler film dubbed “Imported from Detroit,” which was narrated by Kevin Yon. Sadly, Yon passed away back in 2018, but Francois received permission from his family to use AI and past recordings of Yon’s voice as part of this new series. “Fourteen years later, we still consider Kevin and his voice legendary within our walls, the one behind our company’s comeback anthem in 2011, and so for us, there was no better voice to announce this historic partnership,” Francois said.

In addition to this ad campaign, each of these four American brands – Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, and Jeep – will unveil a limited-edition A250 model through the course of 2025, and Stellantis also recently wrapped one of the buildings at its North American headquarters in Michigan with an America250 theme as well.
