The Dodge brand has learned a whole lot in the last 100 years – having first debuted back in 1914 – and to talk about some of the things that the brand has learned, the company has turned to very old people to share what they have learned in their many years.  The company gathered up a collection of men and women who are either over 100 years old or very close to hitting that amazing milestone and they made a video with these century-old individuals talking about some of the most important things that they have learned.  The brand then used that video as a backdrop for the debut of the 2015 Dodge Charger and 2015 Dodge Challenger at the 2014 New York International Auto Show.

While the super close up videography of these very old people makes the interview segments a little creepy, the things that these people have learned over the past 100 years is truly profound.  Many of the things seem obvious, but hearing these folks who have so much life experience put them altogether can really make you think about how you live your life.  Best of all, this video has a cameo appearance by the new 2015 Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker with a 100 year old man named Fred J. Wild behind the wheel that ends the clip with a wicked, smokey burnout.

So crank up your speakers and enjoy this newest Dodge video that celebrates the brand’s 100th birthday.  While you might just be watching to see the burnout at the end, the words of advice offered up by these old folks are worth the watch as well.
